POCKETIFY GUIDE / 02

Save with a browser extension

Save directly as you browse, and check the connection to the Mac app.

Using Safari

  1. Open the Pocketify Mac app.
  2. In Safari settings, open Extensions and enable Pocketify. Follow Safari's prompts to set website access permissions.
  3. Open a regular web page and click Pocketify in the toolbar.
  4. Check the page preview and connection status, then click Save.

Chrome, Edge, and Firefox

These browser extensions connect to Pocketify on your Mac. Install the extension for your browser and its desktop connector, then open Pocketify and check the extension panel's connection status.

The extension can save the current page, or save links and images from the right-click menu. Saving a link saves the page it points to. If its content can't be read, open the link first, then save from the toolbar.

Confirm the save

Save status and desktop connection status are separate. If the connection works but saving fails, read the specific error, such as an insufficient free allowance.

Extension versions with “View in Pocketify” can open the newly saved page after saving. Keep the main app, extension, and desktop connector updated together.
