Find saved content

Search in the app#

Start with search on the relevant content page. If you remember the type, try Links, Documents, Media, or Notes. If you remember the project, open its collection first.

Titles, tags, sources, and content clues can narrow the search. Different search locations cover different data; no result doesn't necessarily mean the content wasn't saved.

Search in the browser#

The extension's new-tab page can search your current browser's tabs, bookmarks, history, frequently visited sites, and Pocketify saves. Browser permissions and desktop connection affect what's available.

Search sources and trigger words choose external search services; they serve a different purpose from searching your Pocketify library. After customizing a source, enter its trigger word as shown in the extension.

If you can't find it#

• Try a shorter keyword and check active filters.
• Check whether you're searching saved items, notes, or external websites.
• Try part of the title, a tag, or the source name.
• Wait for sync to finish for content just saved on another device.
• For external AI searches through MCP, also check local session index coverage.
