Get to know the Mac workspace
Move quickly between content using the sidebar, list, and detail view.
Sidebar, list, and details
The sidebar switches between Links, Media, Documents, Notes, and Organize. With a link or document open, choose content in the list and read it in the detail area.
Collapse the sidebar for more reading space. Full-screen reading in link and document details hides both navigation and the list. Exiting restores the content list; reopen navigation with the sidebar button.
Quick Search and switching pages
The Mac Quick Search panel shows open pages, lets you switch reading content, and opens frequently used websites.
Search with keywords, or use trigger words such as ytb, gh, and x as shown in the panel to choose a search source. Sources and available options depend on the current version's configuration.
Choose a view that fits the content
Links offer compact lists and cover cards; documents and media have their own views. Switching views changes browsing density without changing saved content.
Reader content appearance and overall app appearance are set separately. Pair a dark app interface with whichever reading theme you prefer.
Quick Dock on the desktop
Click Pocketify in the macOS menu bar and choose Show Quick Dock. Use it to return to the main window, visit sites, or expand the input bar to import links. See “Use Quick Dock on Mac” for details.
