POCKETIFY GUIDE / 01
Meet Pocketify
Learn where content belongs and the basics of saving and finding it again.
What Pocketify helps you do
Pocketify brings web pages, images, files, and quick thoughts into one library. Save first, then read, take notes, organize with collections and tags, and find content when you need it.
You don't need a complete filing system at the start. Save an article you're reading, add an annotation, then try searching for it to discover a workflow that fits you.
Where to find each content type
| Content | Common locations on Mac |
|---|---|
| Web links | Links in the library |
| Images, audio, and video | Media (Assets) |
| PDF, EPUB, and other files | Documents (Files) |
| Reading highlights and notes | Notes |
| Collections and tags | Organize |
| Feed articles | Sites and RSS |
How Mac and iPhone navigation differs
Mac uses a sidebar and multi-column workspace for reading and organization. iOS uses bottom navigation; reading excerpts are under Notes in Organize. Navigation and layout differ, so follow each guide's platform labels.
Browser extensions work with the Mac app to save pages. Local MCP instructions apply to Mac.
